A chain of events propels Frank out of the Unifactor and into a world where he is on his own at last; and like so many who leave home, Frank finds himself contending with realities of which he had no previous inkling. Frank''s adventures take place in a kind of Byzantine fun-house phantasmagoria of windows-slash-orifices, faces without faces, and extruded intestines.
