Crash landing on Earth, he runs into young Rand, a scavenger more interested in running than fighting. Still, Rand sees his best chance for survival in the war-torn world is with the experienced military man, and Scott sees his best chance to complete his mission and contact Admiral Rick Hunter is with a knowledgeable guide. Together, with their cyclone veritech armors, they set off across the hostile landscape.
