Trying to ease his father''s mourning and hold together what''s left of the family, Katie and the boy attempt to reclaim a bit of the Christmas spirit and help each other deal with their profound loss. What unfolds changes them both. The Quarry is a coming-of-age story about young love and loss, set against the harsh, winter wonderland of Northern Michigan.
